Are you a structured and solution-oriented person who enjoys juggling multiple tasks and creating efficient workflows? We are now looking for a transport manager who wants to take responsibility for planning and coordinating our transports while contributing to the development and improvement of our working methods.

For our operations in Västberga, we are now seeking a Transport Manager for the collection of recycling materials and waste using rear-loading compactor vehicles (garbage trucks) as well as swap body and lift dumper vehicles. We are a well-organized department with about 70 employees and a fleet of approximately 40 vehicles.

As a transport manager, your primary task is to ensure that operations run smoothly and that our employees work safely and securely. We strive to create a positive work environment where employees have reliable management, good colleagues, and a secure job.

To succeed in this, we need to be a well-functioning unit that delivers assignments with high quality. Our goal is for our customers and clients to always feel satisfied with our services – and for those who are not yet customers to wish they were.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Personnel and work environment responsibility

• Coordination and planning of schedules, personnel resources, vehicles, and routes

• Handling deviations and complaints

• Management of IA reports

• Reporting for invoicing and statistical data

• Ensuring deliveries are made on time, at the right place, and in the right manner

• Planning transports considering time, weight, and volume capacity

• Providing leadership and daily support to drivers

• High school education

• Previous experience in administrative work

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Driving license B

• Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel

Meritorious: 

• Experience in transport management, traffic management, and/or transport planning

• Experience in scheduling and planning

• Experience with heavy vehicles

• Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility
